We have for sale the entire out drive from an OMC V6 Stringer.
Fits OMC Chevy Inline V6 Stringers from 1972 to 1976 with 165 Hp Low Profile Upper Units. We salvaged this one from Model number 980705 Serial Number W63824.
We inspected the internal gears and they are good. The ball gear is worn down about half way. It shifts great when we test it. This OMC Drive is in excellent condition. There is no corrosion on the parts.
Pinion gear and bearing OMC part number is 979999.
This OMC V6 Stringer stern drive upper and lower gear case is ready for use.
