We are selling a used upper unit for OMC Stringer Stern Drives.
This one came from a boat with a Buick V8.
The gears are 19 and 20 Teeth.
Fits OMC stringer stern drives from 1973 and older. It will also fit on 1974-1977, but it has the older gear numbers from 1973 and older.
You will get the exact gear case in the pictures. It has been fully Cleaned. inspected, resealed and painted. We replaced the seals and installed a new water pump. The gears are perfect and do not have one scratch on them. Everything internally is perfect. The ball gear is in great condition.
This is a Long shaft or Long Profile Upper gear case. This unit has external steering only. Although the gear is there for the internal steering hook up there are no other internal parts for the steering. The cable hooks to the outside of the exhaust housing with a bracket.
