We are selling a used vintage Evinrude Simplex dual handle remote control for Evinrude and Johnson outboards.
This Evinrude side mount remote control features two handles that operate the cables. One lever controls the shifting and the other control lever controls the shifting. The control handles move smoothly and the cables aren't gummed up. There is a knob for throttle friction.
These controls work perfect, but do not look perfect. There is no corrosion, but on the back there is some paint pealing off. The shift and throttle cables both work fine, but both of them have cracked and missing plastic on the cable coverings. These remote controls are discount priced for this reason, but they still operate fine. If you want new cables I will install them for the cost of the cable itself. Usually new cables are 30-40 per cable.
The cables are 12 ft throttle cable and 15 foot shift cable.
This is an original Evinrude Simplex side mounting remote control. It is in mechanically sound condition and we guarantee that it works when you get it. There is no damage other than cosmetic.
