For sale is one boat lower gear case housing from an OMC Cobra Stern Drive.
This is the gear housing only. It fits V6 & V8 3.0, 4.3, 5.0, 5.7 and 5.8 from 1991 to 1993.
OMC boat part numbers are 0985355, 0987795, 0438048, 0439972, 5007022, 985355, 987795, 438048, 439972
This is the newer style gear case that does not have snap rings to hold the bearing carrier. This one is the type that holds the bearing carrier in with 2 retainer tabs. This case will fit on all OMC Cobra stern drives, but only the gears and shafts from 1991-1993 will go inside of it.
This OMC lower gear case housing is in great condition.
There is no damage or corrosion on it at all. This is a fresh water part from Wisconsin.
