The Mercury part number is 97432A 2. The casting number on the coupler is 97431.
You will get a used engine coupling that is in great working condition. Like all of our parts, this is a freshwater Mercruiser stern drive part from Wisconsin.
There is no corrosion or damage to this coupler. The splines have minor but acceptable wear. We may have more than one of these so you might not get the one in the picture. The one we send will be in the same general condition.
This engine coupler should fit many Mercruisers with 3.7L 2 BBL 4 BBL 165, 170, 180, 190, 470 and 488 stern drive motors from 1983 to 1989.
