This drive shaft is from fresh water use and is not corroded or pitted.
The top has 9 splines and the bottom has 8 splines.
This drive shaft fits many Mercury Mariner 2 cylinder outboards with long shaft and 15, 18, 20 and 25 Hp 2 stroke motors from 1984 and later It may fit more years than that.
