For sale is one used lower unit reverse gear for Mercury Mariner outboard motors.
The Mercury part numbers are 43-79158 and 43-79158T.
The gear has normal and minimal wear from use. It is not chipped.
The bearing has some rust on it and you may want to replace it. We do NOT guarantee any used bearings!!
You will get one used Mercury lower unit reverse gear that is in great working condition.
This lower unit reverse gear should fit many Mercury Mariner 35-50 Hp outboards from 1980 to 1997. It may fit more than this. Please research your application or email us with your Hp, year and serial number and we will check for you.
