OMC/BRP Part Number complete gearcase: 396730, 0396730
Drive shaft Part Numbers: 391378, 0391378
Shift operation tested good
pressure tesed to 18PSI
has a used impeller
Should fit Johnson and Evinrude outboards from 1983 to 1988 with 60, 65, 70 and 75 Hp 3 cylinder engines.
It might fit some older models as well. Email us with your year, Hp and model number and we can check your fit.
This is known as a long shaft or 20 inch lower unit. Drive shaft measures 21 1/2 inches from the gear case (base of water pump housing) to the tip of the shaft.
DRIVE SHAFT has 4 splines.
Prop Shaft Has 13 Splines
Has some holes in cavitation plate from hydrofoil
Was repainted with factory omc white paint 777171 that was used 1981-88
