The plate is not damaged at all. This is a freshwater part and there is no corrosion. It comes with the plate to support bearing.
You will get a used Evinrude Johnson armature plate support that is in excellent working condition. This is a salvaged Johnson outboard part from a 1974 15 HP 2 cylinder and the part works perfectly.
