This steering cylinder to tilt tube o-ring is for use on some OMC Stringer & Cobra 120 140 170 HP, 2.5 3.0 3.8L stern drive models from 1993 and older; upper gearcase. Also fits some Evinrude/Johnson 100 115 125 HP outboards from the 1960s & 1970s, gearcase group.
The dimensions in inches are I.D. .970, width .065.
OMC part number 314491 was replaced by Siera 18-7129-9, GLM 80220.
This rubber o-ring is used in over 1,000 Johnson/Evinrude outboards & OMC Stringer and Cobra sterndrives.
