For sale is one re-manufactured lower unit for Mercury Mariner outboard motors.
The Mercury part number 1647-9148T85
The case casting number is 1647-9147-C4.
drive shaft 45-442091
The drive shaft measures 28 3/16 inches from the case (base of the water pump housing) to the tip and has 8 splines. This is the extra long 25" shaft.
The prop shaft has 15 splines.
It has been disassembled and internally inspected. All of the gears and bearings are in perfect condition.
There are all new seals. We put in a new impeller. This case has been pressure tested and does not leak.
This lower unit is from freshwater Wisconsin and there is no corrosion.
This lower unit fits some Not all Mercury 150-200 Hp EFI and DFI 2.5L outboard motors.
It may fit more than this. Please research your application or ask us. It is your responsibility to see if this is the right fit for you.
