This sale is for one USED Mercury outboard Complete Lower Gear Case Unit.
***This unit has been pressure tested and will need a new shift shaft seal.***
The Mercury part number for the gearcase housing is 1643-7406A35.
The part number for the drive shaft 45-88024A 2.
This is the 11 spline LONG shaft.
The drive shaft measures about 22 1/2 inches from tip to the gear case (base of water pump housing).
This Mercury lower unit fits 2 cylinder 35, 402 40 Hp, and some 4 cylinder 45 and 50 Hp from 1980 to 1986.
