Ratio=1.65, Gears are 24 and 24 teeth.
Casting number 1547-5523
Fits some Mercury Mercruiser stern drive with 165 HP from 1970-1977.
There is no damage on this upper unit but there is some minor rust on the u-joint. We have totally disassembled it, cleaned and inspected all the parts. We put in new seals. Pressure test held perfectly at 15 P.S.I.
