This carb is untested and missing choke plate and screws so being sold for parts only.

The butterflys move freely and snap back into place
As with any older carb you should do a rebuild kit before you install it.
This Mercarb carburetor fits some not all 2 barrel Mercruisers with 3.7 224, 165 & 170 stern drive motors from 1985 to 1989.
