For sale is one used marine Tru-Course boat steering helm pinion shaft from a 1968 OMC Cruiser.
This OMC Cruiser helm assembly uses the rack and pinion system. The Pinion shaft has 19 splines (all in great shape), which attaches to the OMC steering wheel. It is only used by OMC models.
The helm comes with the red plastic cover, which is has a crack approx. 2" long. It does not come with the cables. Also, it is missing the Tru-Course pointer mechanism. It is functional, even without this mechanism.
You will receive the used OMC rack and pinion assy. and everything else in the pictures in great working condition.
