This is a new old stock OEM Mercury part, not after-market. It does not come in the original packaging. It has some hard residue on it from the original packaging.
Please look up your part number or ask us. You are responsible for checking to see if this fits your application. This pinion gear should fit some Mercury 650 65 and 70 Hp outboards from 1972 to 1979.
