We are selling a used grey lower cowl for Mariner and Mercury outboard motors from 1989-1997.
The Mercury part numbers for the lower cowling are 2197-9772A 2 and 2197-9772T 2. The number cast on the part is 2197-9772-C.
There isn't any corrosion or damage to this Mariner bottom cowling. It's from freshwater Wisconsin. The gray paint is original and is in good condition besides a couple places where it wore off. This comes with the locking handle lever.
You will get a used bottom engine pan cowl that is in great working condition. This is a salvaged Mariner outboard part from a 1992 40 Hp 4 cylinder and the part works perfectly.
This lower engine cowling fits many Mercury Mariner outboards with 30 Jet, 40 4 cyl motors from 1989 to 1997. Please check your application to see if this part fits.
