This sale is for one used Mercruiser Upper Gear Case.
This gear case is in good usable condition.
We did find some minor rust and pitting on the pinion gear but everything turns smooth. The teeth are not worn or chipped.
We pressure tested this unit and it does not leak.
The Gear Ratio is 1.84:1 with 17 and 19 tooth gears
The Mercury part number for the complete assembly is 1547-9412A22.
The Mercury part number for the empty case is 1547-9412A18. The 1.84 gear ratio set is part number 43-75325A3.
This upper unit is guaranteed good! It is completely returnable for 90 days after purchasing.
This upper unit is for 6 cylinder Mercruiser Alpha Ones from 1984-1991. If you change the drive shaft, it also fits pre-Alpha Mercruisers in the 1970's.
