This sale is for one LONG SHAFT Evinrude Johnson outboard Lower Unit.
The Gear Case is fully inspected and all the gears are in great condition.
We intalled all new seals and o rings. It has been pressure tested and it does not leak.
It shifts smooth and everything works as it should.
This lower unit DOES NOT COME WITH AN IMPELLER. You will need to install one before use.
OMC/BRP Part Numbers for the complete gearcase: 396730, 0396730
Should fit Johnson and Evinrude outboards from 1983 to 1988 with 60, 65, 70 and 75 Hp 3 cylinder engines. It might fit some older models as well. Email us with your year, Hp and model number and we can check your fit.
This is known as a long shaft or 20 inch lower unit. Drive shaft measures 21 1/2 inches from the gear case (base of water pump housing) to the tip of the shaft.
DRIVE SHAFT has 4 splines and the prop shaft has 13 splines.
Please check your part numbers to ensure a proper fit for your application.
