For sale is one used SHORT SHAFT lower unit for Evinrude Johnson outboard motors.
This lower unit is in great condition. This case has been pressure tested and holds at 15 PSI.
Everything is smooth and it shifts as it should.
Part numbers for the gear case are 0388002, 0396284, 0435393 and 0438617. The casting number is 322200.
The drive shaft measures 14.25 inches from the case to the tip and has 4 splines.
This is the SHORT shaft.
The prop shaft has 13 splines.
This lower unit fits many 9.9 and 15 Hp Evinrude and Johnson outboard motors from 1974 to 2007, depending on the driveshaft and or shift shaft. You may have to swap them out with your old ones. Please check your application or ask us.
