Complete Upper Gear Case Part Numbers: 5523A49, 5523A67, 1547-9412A22
The Mercury part number for the empty case is 1547-9412A18. The 1.84 gear ratio set is part number 43-75325A3.
There is no damage or corrosion on this upper unit. There may be some scrathes in the paint, but there is nothing that would affect the perfomance of the upper unit. We have totally disassembled it and inspected it. We also installed new seals. All of the gears are and bearings are original Mercury parts and all in perfect condition. This upper unit is pressure tested to 17 PSI.
This upper unit is guaranteed good! It is completely returnable for 30 days after purchasing. Return charges may apply.
This upper unit is 1.84 Ration commonly used for 6 cylinder 4.3 Engines in Mercruiser Alpha Ones from 1983-1990. You can use it in place of different ratios, but then you may have to change your prop.
